In the final one-day international, India defeated Sri Lanka by 317 runs in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. Virat Kohli displayed brilliant batting, and Mohammed Siraj was outstanding with the ball. After winning the first game by 67 runs in Guwahati and the second by four wickets in Kolkata, the victory enabled India to sweep the series 3-0.
With 13 fours and 8 sixes in his 110-ball inning, Kohli scored an undefeated 166.

The former skipper now has 46 ODI centuries under his records , just three centuries behind Sachin Tendulkar ,for the most ODI centuries in history.
In the 50-over format, Kohli reached his 46th ODI century in 269 games while Tendulkar took 463 innings.
Also, Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the most ODI hundreds scored at home. Tendulkar has 20 home tons in 164 games whereas Kohli has 21 in 105 ODI home games.

India’s win against Sri Lanka by 317 runs is the biggest victory margin in history of men’s one day internationals. According to the ICC, this is also the highest margin of victory in any men’s ODI and the first time any team has won a men’s ODI by over 300 runs.
