However, despite not announcing a retirement date or time, the World Cup winner has already acknowledged that “there’s nothing left” for him to contribute to the game.
Messi has won the UEFA Champions League as well as the national league and other cup championships as well. He is a multiple Ballon d’Or winner. Before last year, the World Cup was the only trophy still on his bucket list, but he has that in his cabinet.

I accomplished everything I had always dreamed of with the national team I succeeded in every aspect of my career. It was about concluding my career in a distinctive way. When I first started, I never thought any of this would occur to me, so arriving at this point was the finest. I can’t ask for anything better, and I have no complaints. There is nothing left because we won the World Cup and the Copa America [in 2021],” he remarked in an interview with UrbanaPlay.
I would have liked Diego to hand me the trophy or at the very least to witness everything, to see Argentina being the world champions, with everything he desired and how much he loved the squad. He was strong, like many other people who love me, I believe, he said.
