Uttarakhand: Maulana Arshad Madani met Swami Kailash Nandanagri

On Sunday, Jamiat Ulema-e-hind’s President Arshad Madani met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashananda Giri of Niranjani Akhara in Haridwar. During this meeting, a long conversation happened between the two religious leaders. Both of them put their own words and views in front of each other on many contemporary political and social issues.

Both religious gurus respected each other during this discussion. Swami Kailashanand Giri presented a Shawl to Arshad Madani and a Uttarakhandi hat, Maulana Madani gifted A Quran Sharif translated into Hindi to Swami Ji. During this time, both of them were very enthusiastic.

Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri expressed a lot of positivity about this meeting. He told that this will send a good message of brotherhood among the people across the country. Kailashanand Giri also discussed religious matters with Maulana Arshad Madani including forced conversion and common civil code.

Here Maulana Arshad Madani also expressed his good feelings about this meeting. Arshad Madani said that Hindus and Muslims live together in peace and love across the country but political parties create a dispute among them.

“The blood of all human beings in the whole world is the same, the community is the same, the language and the faces are also the same, but the political leaders have created discrimination among them.” Maulana Madani further said, “No matter which religion a person belongs to, he should not promote this kind of prejudice.” Prosperity will prevail. Apart from this, Maulana Arshad Madani also gave his reactions on many burning issues arising. He categorically rejected forced conversion.

He Said that the change of religion happens by one’s own will. Forced conversion has no value. Also, he disagreed with the Common Civil Code. He said that when the country got it’s independence, the secular system was implemented. In such a situation, every person has the freedom to follow the religion of his choice. They have the right that they cannot be restricted to any one religion.
